Dialogreihe: Green Venturing

Impacts of Green Venture Investment Funds

21. Juni 2021 | 15:15 – 16:15 Uhr

9. Dialogveranstaltung im Rahmen der ISPIM 2021

With less than ten years to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions to limit global warming to 1.5°C, momentum is building to shift finance towards sustainable business activities and solutions. Mounting regulatory pressure as well as growing awareness in the VC space have led to the emergence of specialised green venture funds who are at the forefront of redirecting capital towards climate- and nature-positive start-ups.

Considering the impact potential of green venture investment funds to accelerate the transformation towards a climate friendly economy, this session will discuss the influence of sustainability criteria in the selection and investment processes for green venture funds as well as future development dynamics of the sector.
