Regarding the development of green startups, this year’s study presents a mixed picture. The good news is that the proportion of startups identifying as part of the green economy, aiming to contribute to resource and environmental protection, remains stable. However, the general market and financing environment remains difficult. Sustainability efforts across the board therefore risk losing relevance. This year’s GSM highlights the importance of a strong startup ecosystem for sustainability.
